Urban planning
Changes that occurred in the last few years in Italy and in the entire world, in financial and economic survey, have led many towns to reconsider places and spaces from a point of view of Sustainability, usefulness and new visibility.
Old factories, already left off, have let the place to great residential complexes and to directional and commercial centres, creating new demand also concerning road network and transport.
Productive processes have known an evolution and industries now need an improvement of their production lines.
Progeca also operates in the town planning design sphere with activities that include the analysis of real territory needs, feasibility studies, the planning of lots, and the review of spaces, suggesting different engineering solutions while respecting environmental and socio-economic values
Project & Construction management

Project & Construction management
Construction management is an activity oriented toward the coordination and control and it is directed to such clients that want to assign the execution of a work to several different companies, correctly verifying the specifications of a project, stipulating different contracts of the work.
Progeca provides assistance in:
✓ The verification that the different contracts are complementary, and the coordination of the required contracts;
✓ Verify the specifications and basic requirements;
✓ The verification of the overall goal, set by the client in terms of time, costs, and quality of the project;
✓ The anticipation of on-site problems, and finding an adequate solution;
✓ The completion of any other task necessary to the success of the project.
This activity is fulfilled by a Project Manager and one or more assistants, continuously present on-site for all the duration of works.
Coordination meetings are organized with required frequency, and they are oriented to the exchange of technical information among all the companies and professionals involved
Procurement activities

Procurement activities
Procurement activities include preparation, management, and control operations necessary for the approval of bids. In particular, Progeca provides support to its clients with the following activities:
✓ Preparation of blueprints and graphics for each specific bid;
✓ Preliminary identification of a group of companies able to carry out a particular work;
✓ Issue of bid documents;
✓ Comparison and estimation of bids received;
✓ Supplier selection in partnership with our Client.
Safety on site

Safety on site
The acquired experience of Progeca allows the company to operate conscientiously in the safety sector, assuming roles under current Italian Law:
✓ Director of construction work (Italian law reference: art. 90 D.Lgs. n. 81/2008 and subsequent updates);
✓ Safety coordinator in design phase (Italian law reference: art. 91 D. Lgs. n. 81/2008 and subsequent updates);
✓ Safety coordinator in execution phase (Italian law reference: art. 92 D. Lgs. n. 81/2008 and subsequent updates).
In order to allow our Client to dedicate valuable time exclusively to the core activities of a project, Progeca carries out all logistics on-site including:
✓ Fences and site perimeter;
✓ Site offices and toilet facilities;
✓ Design and preparation of scaffolds;
✓ Activation of electric and telephonic utilities;
✓ Installation of electric systems and ground networks;
✓ Installation of drinks distribution points;
✓ Yard posters and/or advertising;
✓ Site guarding.
After the site installation, a periodic maintenance is planned to ensure the efficiency of the site and security conditions.
Progeca has introduced the new “WebCant ©” Information System for easier filing and management of security documentation.
Through “WebCant ©”, in addition to speeding up the time of delivery of documentation by Companies, fully computerized, and the relative authorization to enter the site, we can quickly verify the completeness of the received and easily keep under control the expiry of important documents such as, for example, the DURC.
The Client will be provided with access credentials to view and, if necessary, download all the documentation uploaded.

Progeca provides assistance in the analysis, design, and interventions finalized to the individualization of energy saving solutions, and through the use of energy resulted by renewable sources.
Any investment in renewable energy applied to existing activities must be based on a preliminary analysis of our clients’ needs, on their expectations, on the study of energy consumption, and on the return on investment.
Progeca offers the following services:
✓ Energy Due-Diligence;
✓ Consumption monitoring and analysis;
✓ Proposals for improvements;
✓ Analysis of suggested initiatives business plans;
✓ Design and management of interventions (photovoltaic, geothermic, biomass, etc.).
Progeca also aids in the authorization process for the construction of plants, which involves the preparation of a number of documents, and the management of relationships with various entities, which vary depending on the power and type of system to be realized.
Progeca has always been attentive with regard to the environmental and energy sector. For this reason, we recommend and develop the use of renewable energy and, furthermore, we strive to study and constantly research new structural and plant solutions, in order to achieve a significant energy savings and a greater respect for our environment. In addition, Progeca has developed important partnerships with producers of technological systems, with whom we share the common purpose of researching the best energy efficiency at the lowest possible cost.

Environmental Engineering

Energy certification

Energy certification
The obligation of an Energy Certification has come into effect, and has become a turning point in Italy for the development of a scientific approach to energy issues in
construction, quantifiable with comparable parameters that could affect the commercial value of a property and the buyer’s choice.
Real estate owners, investment funds, and important traders have to implement the Energy Certification in order to sell portions of the property, as a prerequisite for purchase deed.
A decisive role for the classification of housing and its resulting value is assumed by:
✓ Technology, equipment and facilities aimed at curbing drastically energy consumption
✓ Professionals who provide those plants in their projects
✓ Constructors who follow those projects and use correct materials
PROGECA offers an Energy Certification service, as provided by current Italian Law also trough an Energy Management Expert – acronym EGE (Certificate no. IT.17.03.EGE.RM.0001).
Decommissioning activity

Decommissioning activity
The decommissioning of a plant is the phase of its declassing, decontamination and dismantling, and it has the final scope of demolition and removal of any restraint, due to the presence of contaminated materials inside the plant.
The achievement of this goal passes through the phases of the treating of pre-existent waste and the dismantling of equipment, plants and buildings.

Engineering activities offered by Progeca for the Decommissioning include:
✓ Assistance for complete or partial removal of the Plant, through the decontamination of structures and components

The goal of this activity is permitting the re-establishment of the site at pre-existing conditions, always ensuring the health and safety of the workers involved in the activity.
Maintenance services

Maintenance services
This activity is addressed to customers who have the responsibility to manage and maintain in efficiency industrials or civilians Real Estate assets over time.
PROGECA offers organization and control of the whole maintenance service, both ordinary and extraordinary, for:
✓ Building maintenance;
✓ Electrical and special plants maintenance;
✓ Thermal and energy plants maintenance;
✓ Active security plants and fire fighting maintenance;
✓ General and specialized cleaning services (sanification);
✓ Green;
✓ Road network.
Progeca develops integrated design services both with the elaboration of the italian named “Fascicoli dell’Opera” (Legislative Decree 81/2008) and with the real technical-functional requirements.
Recently, we have designed a dedicated software for the interactive use of a technical dossier of the Opera drawn up for the management of a high-speed station; by means of this SW it is possible for example:
✓ Organize preventive and maintenance activities through events calendars in which the operations on civil works, electrical and mechanical systems are subdivided;
✓ Check the interventions already present calculated by the system according to the preventive/ maintenance cadences on all the objects surveyed;
✓ Display the physical position of an object in the station;
✓ Insert a new activity on a specific object, such as an extraordinary maintenance activity; the card allows you to report the object code, the room, the membership plan and possibly the personnel involved in the processing;
✓ Print the extract of the dossier showing for each floor, room and object, the preventive and maintenance activities to be carried out, the relative cadence and information on risks and PPE;
✓ For each room there is a card in which are reported the details on accessibility, lighting, risks at height if existing, equipment in operation and auxiliary equipment on lease.
Prescriptive adjustments

Prescriptive adjustments
In terms of reallocation or industrial building renovation, Progeca offers both structural and plant adjustments. Progeca is able to provide functional adjustments needed to convert the use of a building, and also Code adjustments, in order to update a building to current under the current laws.
For functional adjustments, Progeca designs new solutions, in agreement with the requirements and needs expressed by the Client and with the other designers involved.
For code adjustments, Progeca examines with care the current state of the structures/plants and projects necessary solutions to get them conform to current Law.
